Building regulations

Prostitution may only be carried out in premises for which appropriate planning permission has been granted. The admissibility of prostitution establishments depends on which types of use are permitted in the building area. For example in purely residential areas the practice of prostitution in any form is always prohibited. Further information can be found in the brochures listed below. Applications for planning permission can be obtained in Hanover via an architect specialising in town planning in the building regulations sector.
